 Summer Camp and CityTV!
Girl Central Summer Camp was a blast! The girls, ages 10-14, were from John Adams Middle School and Santa Monica High School. Summer camp gave them a fun-filled and action packed summer in a safe, caring environment with other girls. It included daily field trips, outdoor activities, self-esteem projects, community service, life skills and creative expression workshops, cooking classes, and more! Field trips included: Beach Days, Pacific Park at the Pier, Sports & Team Building day, Santa Monica Farmers Market Cooking Classes, Ink Slam Poetry Workshop, The Grove/Extra TV Experience, Swimming at SMC, Mulligans Family Fun Center, Six Flags Hurricane Harbor, Westside Food Bank Community Service, Spa Day, and more! Fall after-school programming has just launched, including a NEW yoga/meditation/journaling program and STEAM education (that's Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math).
